Looking After Your Shoes
We Want Your Shoes To LastLeather is a natural product, and because of that you might spot small variations in colour and texture. That’s what makes leather special and unique.
To protect your footwear we recommend that you apply a waterproof protector. There are many different ones available on the high street and at your local cobblers. We recommend applying a product that can be used on all materials, including: leather, suede, nubuck and textile. This will not only help to repel water and dirt, but help protect your shoes from general wear.
Leather CareUse a dry cloth to gently remove any dust and dirt. Apply a leather cream or balm to nourish and moisturise the leather. Always allow wet shoes to dry naturally, do not leave them by artificial heat.
Suede CareUse a clean shoe brush to raise the nap of the suede and remove any small marks or scuffs. Stubborn marks can be removed with a good suede cleaner or suede sponge. Allow wet shoes to dry naturally; do not leave them by artificial heat.
We recommend using a shoe tree when storing your shoes, this will help the shoes retain their original shape and keep them looking their best. An alternative is to scrunch up an old newspaper and put it inside the shoes, this will also help draw-out any moisture as the shoe dries.
